Bed and Breakfast accomodation in Torquay in a lovely, quiet and green location yet close to the beach and all facilities. You will be made welcome by Sue & Stuart, resident proprietors, at the Gainsboro Guest House!

Our traditional Victorian home offers relaxed and friendly B&B with hearty, and healthy, breakfasts. We understand how precious time away on holiday or a short break is, so we do our best to make to your stay with us as enjoyable and comfortable as possible.

Gainsboro has been inspected by Quality in Tourism and is 'English Riviera Approved' for your peace of mind. We have Double, Twin, Family and Single rooms. We also have a pretty garden at the front of the house with patio table and chairs which you are welcome to relax in during your stay.

If you are travelling by car there is free parking available for guests or the railway station is only a 5 minute walk away if you are using the train.

  • - 600 yards to Riviera International Centre
  • - The Princess Theatre, Harbour and Town centre are around a 20 min level walk along the seafront or through Torre Abbey Gardens

Join a lantern-lit musical procession to the orchard to scare bad spirits away and bring good luck. Bring a torch, wellies, pans and spoons to make plenty of noise! Be sure to bring a mug along and help yourself from a bowl of apple juice. A glass jar making workshop, mini toffee apples and other crafts will take place followed by a procession.
